    How durable are they out in the field?

    Stone guard at the front, synthetic reinforcement at the back and leather inserts placed in key areas: these boots are designed to withstand abrasion, impact, harsh vegetation and demanding conditions. They protect durably, even on technical trails.

    Eco-design sits at the heart of our products

    We design our products by reducing their environmental impact, from the design phase. This entails using recycled materials, PFC-free coatings, more water- and energy-conservative processes, such as the dope dyeing technique, which colours the fibre at source, thus reducing water consumption and polluting effluent.

    What is its waterproofing ability?

    Thanks to their PFC-free waterproof lining, these boots keep your feet dry for up to six hours, even in damp conditions. The materials used for the upper are water-repellent and tests in the laboratory as well as field tests validate their waterproofing ability.

    What level of foot support does it offer?

    The leather reinforcement in the midfoot section ensures effective support, even on technical terrain. The reinforced midsole provides good support to the arch of the foot for better stability.

    How to care for your boots

    Leave your boots to air dry, without any source of heat. Remove dried mud using a hard cleaning brush, and treat stains with warm water. Regularly restore waterproofing with a suitable spray. Only store them away when they are completely dry.

    What’s the grip like?

    The OUTDOOR CONTACT rubber outsole guarantees excellent grip on wet and dry ground. And the 5 mm crampons offer good grip.
    This grip has been validated by a panel of hikers, both in the laboratory and out in the field.
