    Why choose 5 kg dumbbells?

5 kg dumbbells are perfect for more intense training, ideal for developing strength and muscle mass. They allow you to gradually increase the intensity of your sessions, while improving the coordination and precision of your movements. Compact and practical, these dumbbells are excellent for effective sessions at home to maintain your routine.

Our products are designed with at least 80% recycled cast iron.

Since 2018, our teams have been gradually integrating recycled materials into our products in order to achieve the best possible compromise. After several years of experimentation, Decathlon is replacing its entire range of cast iron products with recycled cast iron, made of at least 80% iron and steel waste - a great feat in the metal world! To ensure the quality is equivalent to standard cast iron, tests are conducted in partner laboratories.

What can you train with 5 kg dumbbells?

These 5 kg dumbbells are excellent for intensely strengthening your lower-body muscles. As the lower body muscles are naturally stronger, heavier weights are needed for an effective workout. Suitable exercises include squats, side lunges, conventional deadlifts and bench presses. Each of these movements maximises muscle engagement for optimum results.

    Freeletics: inspiration for your workouts

Freeletics integrates seamlessly with your equipment to support you during your workouts. The leading European app is fully compatible with this product and offers comprehensive workouts to strengthen your whole body.

How do you know how much weight to use?

Choose a weight that combines precision and comfort during your exercises. Remember that the quality of your movements is more important than the weight itself. At the end of your workout, you should feel that your muscles have worked, but you should still have enough energy left to enjoy the rest of your day.

How to improve your performance with your dumbbells

Start each workout with a dynamic warm-up, using light dumbbells to wake up your body effectively. Beginner? Start with 0.5 kg dumbbells to perfect your movements with precision. Then gradually challenge your limits by adding 0.5 kg to your dumbbells every other workout.

What are these 5 kg dumbbells' dimensions?

A dumbbell is 19.5 cm long, 11.7 cm wide, 10 cm high and 45.71 mm in diameter (handle).

These dumbbells are stable and leave no marks on your floor - they're perfect!

Are you looking for dumbbells that are perfectly suited to your fitness routine? Our dumbbells have been specially designed to meet your needs! Thanks to their unique design, they stay firmly in place without rolling when placed on the floor. With their PVC coating, they protect your floors from marks and scratches.

From extraction to production, metal has a high environmental footprint. To help reduce it, we use recycled metal in this product — sourced from recovered scrap, sorted, shredded, and melted down in electric furnaces, which are far less energy-intensive than traditional coal-fired blast furnaces. The result: the same performance as virgin metal, with a lower environmental impact: – 40% less energy used – 19% fewer CO2eq emissions – and fewer raw materials extracted
