TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Choosing your size

Despite the stretch component, these shorts are small in size, we recommend you choose a size larger than your usual size.

Why use organically grown cotton?

To preserve the performance and soft feel of our products during your hikes, we blend 30% cotton from industrial waste or textiles at the end of their lifecycle with virgin cotton fibres. By using this method, we can reduce the impact of growing new cotton fibres.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CONSUME LESS WATER WITH THIS PRODUCT

Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced.
This virtuous design method was only used for our grey shorts. We are working every day on extending this to the other colours of the same model.

TESTS AND WARRANTY

Test product

Our design team imagines, creates and designs the Quechua products at the foot of the Mont Blanc, in France. We test them in the field with other hikers, to check their comfort. In the Fontainebleau Forest, Brittany or even Corsica for example. We go to as many different places as possible, in all weather conditions. This creates plenty of opportunities for discussions to get your feedback which is used to plan our future products!

These NH100 Fresh shorts were tested and approved in April 2019 by a tester group during a walk on the island of La Réunion. To meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested out in the heart of nature in the type of conditions you may encounter during your hikes. Our teams, as well as a tester panel (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test products throughout their development until they go to market.
