To determine a theoretical life span for our products, we go through a rigorous procedure of lab tests and long lasting trials on the pitch to compare products of the same type, used for the same purpose. By identifying any weak points, we can improve the product design in order to prolong its theoretical life span.

This approach enabled us to increase the life span by 35% compared with the average life span of a family of products.

By observing very young players and listening to parents and educators, we co-created this football boot and its EASY system with a podiatrist specialising in sports and young football players. Its strength? A high-quality rip-tab finish across the whole width of the foot, which holds all of the lacing for better support!

In order to provide you with optimum flexibility for sudden changes of direction and push-offs, mad dashes and between-the-lines passes, we developed a new technology. The Flex-H, on the front of the outsole, allows the sole to bend following the shape of a horizontal "H".

These football boots are the result of a multitude of choices all made with the same goal: to make this football boot the most comfortable in its price range!
Upper made of soft PU on the forefoot, mesh fabric lining on the heel, preformed insole, tongue attached at the base that does not twist and keeps the foot nice and snug in place during play. A pronounced contour and raised back of the heel help support your foot and keep it nicely in place.

We enlarged the main surface area that makes contact with the ball by placing the laces in an asymmetric line. The axis along which the laces are placed was shifted to the outside by 10 degrees to provide you with a larger sweet spot for controlling, passing and striking the ball. There's nothing to hold you back from showing off your best moves! Say goodbye to missed dribbles, close-but-not-quite passes, and strikes that land in the stands. Your coach and team members will be delighted!

We designed these football boots together with a podiatrist specializing in sports and young football players. Together, we designed and validated the various technologies and concepts used in these football boots. For example, when creating the outsole, the number of studs, their rounded shape, and their locations on the boot, were specifically researched and designed to ensure the best balance of grip and comfort.

The Viralto comes in four different sole variants: These refer to the type of pitch you play on: - TF (Turf or stabilized): rubber sole for hard synthetic or slate pitches. - FG (Firm Ground): the famous "moulded" TPU studs made for long natural or synthetic grass- MG/AG: (Artificial): sole specially designed for synthetic pitches.
- SG (Soft Ground): for soft or muddy pitches; a hybrid sole that has 6 screw-in studs.

Because every player is unique, you can have your boots personalised at your local Decathlon store workshop (first name, surname, etc.).
