TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Easy use

This tarp allows you to create several configurations in order to obtain a covered area in front of your tent or an additional shelter from the rain or wind to store your belongings. It can be attached to the ground or you can also use the trees that are available. Don't hesitate to check out the video tutorial to discover all these possibilities.

Sun protection

The coated fabric has a UPF of 30.
Please note: Substantial amounts of UV rays can enter through the sides. Protect your skin with sun cream.

Waterproofing

Polyurethane-coated polyester waterproof canvas -- Central stitching made watertight by a heat-sealed strip.

Resistance to wind

The poles are made from 5mm-diameter galvanised steel for very high torsional rigidity.

As designers and users who love our playing field, we care about the durability of our products, that is why all our tents are designed to be repairable.
Spare parts and pole repairs are available from your Decathlon workshop or on our website, at the following address:

If you have a problem, have your tent looked at in your nearest Decathlon shop.

Tips for storage and maintenance

Drying in a tumble dryer possible. Normal temperature, maximum exhaust air temperature of the drum 80°C.
Maximum wash temperature of 30°C. Very moderate treatment.
Iron at a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C.
Maximum wash temperature 70°C. Normal treatment.
Ironing at a maximum iron soleplate temperature of 200°C.

Storage tips

Storage – after use or cleaning, dry the tent thoroughly before storing to prevent any odour or mould from developing.

Restrictions on use

UV rays can pass through canvas, protect yourself from the sun.

Test product

Our design team conceives, designs and creates all of our Quechua products at the foot of Mont Blanc, in France. We test them in the field with other campers, to check their comfort and durability. From Brittany to Corsica, we go to as many places as possible, in all weather conditions. These experiences are highly beneficial for us, allowing us to hear your feedback and start thinking about our future products!

To fulfil your needs, the Quechua tarps are tested under the conditions that you will come across when camping in the countryside. Our teams, as well as a panel of testers (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test our tarps throughout their development right up until they are marketed. This is how we guarantee the quality of a tarp.

Parts guarantee

5 years. REPAIRS: All our tarps can be repaired in your usual Decathlon workshop.
