TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Easy care:

No need to grab your glycerine soap, leather balm or wax: coated microfibre is an easy-care fabric that lets you ride your horse or pony in any weather conditions. Just give it a brush to knock off any mud or dirt then wipe with a damp sponge to get your half chaps looking spic and span!

Wear them with the 500 jodhpur boots:

The fitted, supple, durable 500 half chaps go perfectly with the jodhpur boots in the same range for a smart outfit that looks like you're wearing real boots. The insert on the front and the curved shape mean that the half chaps fit snugly with the boots so that riders can wear the right kit for training and competitions.

Adjustment at the top:

Chaps are a bit like a second skin: they need to be fitted, wrapping snugly around the rider's lower leg. To do this, our engineers have created the 500 half chaps in two leg heights and several calf sizes. The elastic section turns the chaps into a second skin. For good support, choose the ones that are the best fit! The supple material and curved calf will also work to give you the best possible fit.

Flexibility:

While the 500 half chaps give you good support, they also have the advantage of being very supple. Their coated microfibre material winds around your lower leg to let you move freely. Your ankle joint won't be restricted. Your lower leg is held in place, in contact with your horse, so that you can ride comfortably with nothing hindering your movements.

Durability:

Thanks to their synthetic coated microfibre material, the 500 half chaps withstand the damp and offer good resistance to rubbing. For even more strength, the inside stitching near the zip is in a zig-zag pattern that also helps riders wear half chaps that are exactly the right size. The press-studs at the bottom make them easy to put on and keep them in place. Ready to ride!

Tips for storage and maintenance

Drying in a tumble dryer possible. Normal temperature, maximum exhaust air temperature of the drum 80°C.
Maximum wash temperature of 30°C. Very moderate treatment.
Iron at a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C.
Maximum wash temperature 70°C. Normal treatment.
Ironing at a maximum iron soleplate temperature of 200°C.

Storage tips

Store away from damp and preferably in a dry, ventilated place. Allow to dry after each use and keep away from heat sources (radiators, fires).
