The button doesnt seem to function anymore. It basically auto-on; which means the moment i turn the mechanism, the light emits immediately wihtout being able to store the energy for continuous use. That being said, if its an emergency, i'll just have to endlessly turn the mechanism to provide light. :/ I would suggest a sturdier and rugged product.
