“us”) collects from or through  from individuals (“user”, “buyer” or
“you”). Decathlon is committed to safeguarding any personal information the Buyer shares.
Moreover, this policy applies to all personal information, whether it was provided to us
through our website, mobile applications or through any other form of communication such
as email, telephone, or otherwise.

can be done by Decathlon or on behalf of Decathlon by third parties as set forth in this policy.

What information do we collect and how do we collect it?
When the user visits we collect information about the respective device that
the prospective buyer is using. This includes but is not limited to device and log information.


First time users and/or returning users’ information may be collected through cookies and
other technologies, such as information pertaining to a user’s online activity, the pages of our
website that the user visits, search terms and any link which the user clicks.
Should the user choose to contact us, may keep record of your contact
information and the interaction with the user should the user contact us for any reason. We

Registered User

Users can only purchase goods and services from the website when registered. Registered
users are required to submit contact information should they wish to purchase from the
website. In this case, the user becomes a “Registered User” or “Buyer”.

email address, payment information, and shipping address from Buyers.

Buyers purchasing a product for delivery to a third party are subjected to disclose the contact
information and shipping address of the third party in question.
Why do we collect your information?

for us such as deliveries and refunds.
Delivery is outsourced at Decathlon South Africa. As such, the user’s home address should
be shared with the delivery suppliers to enable door-to-door delivery or locker deliveries.
When making payment on the payment is validated by a third party. When
users make their payments, they choose our payment partners Pay U who collects payment
information on our behalf and provides us with feedback about the status of your payment.

Decathlon South Africa Pty (Ltd) reserves the right to disclose the user’s personal
information to government bodies, exchanges and other regulatory bodies should Decathlon
be required to do so by law. contains links to external websites (i.e. tracking parcels). Decathlon cannot
be held liable for the privacy policies of third parties and the manner in which the third
parties choose to manage user’s personal information.

Decathlon updates its policies on a continual basis and can do so without informing the user.
Users should review this policy frequently as the amended policy will be the policy
governing Decathlon procedures and not the previous policies.
