Recovering from torn knee ligaments, my knee was swollen but still needed support. The support guard was quite small, considering it was large. I struggled to get it on and then found it to be very uncomfortable around the back of the knee. I’ve only worn it a few times and for me it was a waste of money !
Excellent quality and comfort
Bought for my daughter and she was delighted with it - didn’t slip and her knee felt safe and secure.
I purchased x2 of the Mid 500 Adult Knee brace to give that extra support while skiing (which while writing the review I'm still on the ski trip). I have only need to use one of the knee braces, but I have found it to be very uncomfortable while skiing, due to the support straps crossing and cutting in at the back of the knee. So hence I will not be using the knee support any further during my the rest of my skiing trip. I'll take my chance and hope my knee hold out!
I run 10-12 miles per week... I get periodic pain in my knee, articular cartilage... Bought this brace to give some support when I need it... Not to restrictive and gives my knee the support it needs. Excellent!
Fabric is more comfortable than neoprene knee braces
Does exactly what it says. Stays nice and cool too. Doesn't twist or fall down, remains in place all day
Really good support. I exercise fairly heavy and find it gives good support
really good support
provides just the right amount of support without losing moch of the joint's flexibility
Perfect fit due to adjustable strap length
I have tried a lot of different knee supports over the years. The best of them provide firm support unobtrusively so you can wear them for a long time without really noticing. The Aptonia does the first bit: it's tight (had to change size!) and the cross strapping provides support to front and rear of knee. However, it isn't adjustable and I found it felt tighter and more uncomfortable the longer I wore it. I think this could have been better designed, possibly with a rear velcro fastening strip to allow adjustment, rather than the all-or-nothing pull-on sock approach.
Very supportive for whole knee - front and back
Gets uncomfortable and not very adjustable
