I have just purchased a w700xc. It is pretty good in terms of the quality, but I have some suggestions having using the watch for quite a while. May I ask if the watch has memory to keep the split time(up to 20 times) while it is in stopwatch mode and interval training mode? Also, when we are in interval training mode, isn't possible to key ahead or record the lap time by using the split switch. I think the watch would be perfect if it can record and memories our lap time.
Its a good watch with an excellent pricing. It can compete and win against opponents like casio, Titan, etc. The few negative issues with it, is the cheap feeling band and the lack of a normal countdown timer
Sprang to life on French time. Attempts to adjust to BST frustratingly difficult but otherwise comfortable to wear in a British style heatwave. Living on European central time until GMT is restored by the powers that decide. Happy with plastic waterproof strap, which is easily adjustable as wrist swells in the heat and shockproof for sports activities.
Needed an inexpensive, waterproof, shock resistant watch for Armed forces basic training. I spent a while researching and found this watch fitted the bill perfectly. On paper, it's comparable to watches twice it's price. However, after only three months of normal use (I'm starting basic training in a week so I've only been using it for 5k runs 3 times a week) it failed me. The slot that the 'exclusive attachment system' strap slides into has broken meaning it no longer holds the strap in place, basically useless now. I'm due to start basic training in a few days and don't have time to visit a store to replace it so I'm out of pocket as I'm having to buy another digital watch. I'll just stick with the common watch used by nearly all recruits.Very disappointing and would not recommend.

Got this to replace my old geonaute watch, and it works perfectly, the new timing features are great too
Needed a watch for water sports activity, I surf and kayak but also a rowing coach.
Difficult to measure quality yet as its too new. Does what it needs to as well as more expensive watches.
Only niggle is that you have to press one button twice to move to stopwatch mode and agan to start. You have about 30 seconds to start the stopwatch otherwise it just goes back to the clock dislay and you have to start again.
First use in anger I was trying to time a competitor's race and there were problems on the start line. I had to change mode about 4 times to keep the stopwatch function ready
Light, robust, cheap
stopwatch reverts to clock if it doesn't start
Really pleased with this watch. Have had 2 x Timex Ironman watches, but the minute the casing goes you have to buy another...this watch's replacable strap beats Timex (not to mention the price difference).
Excellent sports watch. I am highly tempted to buy another one in black. Compared to Casio sports watch you are getting a similar bang for a significantly less buck.
Sturdy, easy to operate, useful functions
The plastic looks a bit cheap
watch was returned and exchanged for something more practical
it looked good
the strap was to easily removeable
