Make sure you get the wider version if you have a Mountain Bike
Bought as a package while purchasing a MTB. Needed something for a full sus MTB, does the job
Its not raining yet so not sure as it is a bit unsteady
Is ok a little flimsy and could be a little stiffer. But good value and keeps your bum from getting wet.
Great price easy to fix on
A great idea, the addition of the zip-tie being a very good variation on other similar products.
The only issue that I've found - when fitted it obscures the rear light, my lights are on the seat post of my bike and the mudguard covers them. This may be the shape of my bike / position of my lights / saddle etc, but worth pointing out.
Does what it's meant to do! And cheap as chips
These are £2.50 !! for the money there brilliant.. I recommend you get 2 of the front ones and fit a front one to the back just above the rear tyre.It works perfect and if you match this with a ass saver you cant go wrong for budget Mud protection.
How can you be negative its £2.50
Bought one of these online, got it for 49 bucks which was the best thing . I will say this is a good product it keeps the water from splashing on your back while riding the bike at at high speed. However it doesn't look very pretty on a hybrid or Roadbikes (700c) , but it's super easy to install and uninstall and storage is the best part as it can get completely flat and can be stored anywhere. The plastic Quality is way better then it looks online. The Zip tie belts given to secure the mud flaps is excellent coz u can unlock it when needed it can surely stay in place even on trials and mountain biking. The best part is it won't break in case of an crash . It will just flex . Highly recommended product.
I have been using this Mudguard on my roadbike. It was on sale and got it for just Rs.49.00. I found it to be very effective and reduced spray from rear wheel . It is strong enough. May not stand rigors of hard MTB off roading.
