HOW TO REACTIVE THE JACKET'S WATER REPELLENCY? step 1: before washing
Close all zips and flaps and remove any parts of the garment that cannot be washed. Also remember to loosen the straps and elastic parts and empty the pockets. Then turn the garment inside out to wash it.
7
HOW TO REACTIVE THE JACKET'S WATER REPELLENCY? step 2: washing
You can wash your jacket on a synthetic cycle at 30° or 40°C with your usual detergent. Do not use fabric conditioner, which could damage the existing performance of the garment, or bleach. Also take care not to bend your jacket too much when you place it in the washing machine and do not overload your machine.Very important: select a thorough rinse or double rinse to completely remove all detergent residue.
8
HOW TO REACTIVE THE JACKET'S WATER REPELLENCY? step 3: drying
Drying is a crucial phase in reactivating the water repellent treatment. We recommend that you lay your jacket flat on a clothes rack and leave it out to dry in the open. Caution: never dry your jacket directly on a radiator. Then place it in the tumble dryer on a short synthetics cycle, i.e. 10 to 15 minutes, before turning it back the right way round.
9
HOW TO REACTIVE THE JACKET'S WATER REPELLENCY?
If, despite this procedure of washing and thorough rinsing followed by gentle drying in a tumble dryer, the drops of water no longer run off the surface of your jacket, we recommend that you "re-waterproof" it using a waterproofing spray or detergent sold in our stores.

Stockage tips
Store in a dry place, but do not leave your garment on a heat source such as a radiator, as this may damage the breathable membrane or coating.

Maintenance tips
Machine wash your Offshoroa waterproof and breathable jacket at 30°C. Inside-out with hook and loop strips stuck together. Choose a long rinse and gentle spin cycle. Line dry if possible. Occasional tumble drying on low for a short period of time will improve the water repellent treatment. To reactivate the water-repellent treatment, you can also iron the fabric at a maximum temperature of 140°C or apply the Tribord re-waterproofing spray.

Purchased jacket and trousers, so impressed bought a second outfit for friend. compared the clothing with more expensive budget range at nationwide chandlery, no contest.
Excellent sailing jacket
Used for More than 1 year
Bought one of these autumn 2016. Have worn it sailing through Autumn league, Brass Monkey winter sailing in Howth 2016 and 2017. Also worn to winter rugby matches.
Excellent quality, hard wearing, practical sailing jacket.
Crew and friends have bought these too on my recommendation. Just as good as higher priced big name jackets. Can't fault it.
Response of the brand
Hi Paul,

Glad to know you and your crew like the 500 range of jackets. This is one of our most popular jackets!

Thanks,
SHARON
Very good jacket for the price.
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Up until now I have always bought "household name" sailing clothing as other brands often fall short in some aspects.
I have to say though that this jacket is every bit as good and at least half the price.
Worn on a recent sailing weekend when the conditions where classic spring like.. heavy showers, cold strong winds, bright sunshine light winds etc.
The jacket performed superbly.
Looks to be made of very durable material, not light and flimsy.
Great value good quality protection
Used for 3 to 6 months
Have used this jacket regularly since receiving it six months ago, in both favourable and unfavourable conditions in the Dublin Bay area and on ISORA races across the Irish Sea to Wales. Great at keeping you dry through spray and heavier weather conditions. Size is generous which allows for extra layers underneath. If you don't want this, I would suggest ordering a size smaller that you would usually order.
Price, Water Resistance.

chtěla bych vyzvednout profesionalitu a ochotu všech prodavaču. A není to umělý usměv, to poznáte ihned. Děkujeme a rádi se k vám budeme vracet.

Used for 2 to 8 weeks
sehr gute Verarbeitung, absolut wasserdicht.
Super Jacke
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Klare Kaufempfehlung.
