Technical Information

- Dual-layer hydrophilic fabric - >10000 mm of water pressure. - Fully taped seams. - Inner flap - Bottom of the legs adjustable by rip-tab strip. - Tested under a simulated heavy rain shower (450 L/hr/sqm) for 4 hours.
- The waist is adjustable using semi-elasticated rip-tabs.
A large reflective 3M patch on the back intensifies low light sources. The Tribord logos are also reflective.
- Injected plastic central zip resistant to salt oxidation.
Close all zips and flaps and remove any parts of the garment that cannot be washed. Also remember to loosen the straps and elastic parts and empty the pockets. Then turn the garment inside out to wash it.
You can wash your jacket on a synthetic cycle at 30° or 40°C with your usual detergent. Do not use fabric conditioner, which could damage the existing performance of the garment, or bleach. Also take care not to bend your jacket too much when you place it in the washing machine and do not overload your machine.Very important: select a thorough rinse or double rinse to completely remove all detergent residue.
Drying is a crucial phase in reactivating the water repellent treatment. We recommend that you lay your jacket flat on a clothes rack and leave it out to dry in the open. Caution: never dry your jacket directly on a radiator. Then place it in the tumble dryer on a short synthetics cycle, i.e. 10 to 15 minutes, before turning it back the right way round.
If, despite this procedure of washing and thorough rinsing followed by gentle drying in a tumble dryer, the drops of water no longer run off the surface of your jacket, we recommend that you "re-waterproof" it using a waterproofing spray or detergent sold in our stores.

Stockage tips
Store in a dry place, but do not leave your garment on a heat source such as a radiator, as this may damage the breathable membrane or coating.

Maintenance tips
Machine wash your Offshoroa waterproof and breathable salopettes at 30°C. Inside-out with hook and loop strips stuck together. Choose a long rinse and gentle spin cycle. Line dry if possible. Occasional tumble drying on low for a short period of time will improve the water repellent treatment. To reactivate the water-repellent treatment, you can also iron the fabric at a maximum temperature of 140°C or apply the Tribord re-waterproofing spray.

I've now worn these for about a month in all weathers from calm to F6. I've been dry and comfortable in them.

Size wise upscale, I'm normally a L and thats what I first had delivered, too small, sent them by back and got an XL almost by return.
bought these for dingy sailing

excellent value for money, would recommend to any one
These weren't designed by a man!

Because the front zip is not double ended you need to undo your lifejacket and then undo the zip on your offshore jacket just so you can get to the front zip on these salopettes to go for a pee.
For that reason they are no use in an offshore environment and should not be designated Offshore.
Front zip is not double ended
Response of the brand
Dear Alan,

Thanks for your mail. You are correct, there is only one zip at the front of the Offshoroa salopettes, meaning that you need to undo the the jacket to access the zip for the trousers (and sometimes the lifejacket depending on the model). I will pass your remarks on to the design and production team in France, and let you know their feedback.
If you are not entirely satisfied with the product please return it to your nearest store or via the online process for a full refund/exchange.
Apologies for the inconvenience,

Good and robust - one design flaw from excellent
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I'm not a sailor, I coach at my local rowing club so need decent wet weather and winter kit because I am likely to spend several hours at a time in a coaching launch in all weathers in a largish natural harbour.

These work well for that purpose, they are reasonably snug around the torso but loose enough around the areas where flexibility is needed. Only time will tell whether they will go the distance but the general feel is one of good quality.

There is a design issue around the hem which I would consider a flaw though. The nature of their use involves launching and recovery of the boat, not in deep water (welly depth). The hem is about 2" deep but is attached to the trouser lining rather than a proper hem stitch back onto itself. This effectively creates a waterproof bag effect at the hem which, even in akle-deep water, means that it fills up.

Minor nuisance rather than significant problem but might be something that the design people will want to look at.

Tolle Hose
Habe diese Hose für den Winter geholt.
Sehr bequem und klasse. Auch zum Radfahrer genutzt. Hält gut warm und trocken. Auch mit Jeans drunter tragbar
schade zu kurz
Used for 1 week or less
