Additional recommended products
"Rain-Cut Pant" overtrousers or waterproof leggings for complete protection for the lower legs and provide comprehensive and highly effective protection from rain showers. Care products: spray or liquid water-repellent treatment in the washing machine. To restore the fabric's water-repellent properties and optimise performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
8
Component waterproofing
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A waterproof rating of 2,000 mm means the fabric can withstand the pressure exerted by a 2,000 mm column of water (the equivalent of a rain shower lasting for two hours).
9
Garment waterproofing
This garment has been shower-tested using 60 litres of water/sqm/hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
10
Component breathability
To find out if a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance RET (test based on ISO 11092). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour, generated by physical activity, is able to evaporate and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9
11
Water repellent property of the component
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water to slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from becoming waterlogged, and keeps it lightweight, breathable and warm. A fabric is made water repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifetime (recommended after every 3 washes). All Quechua ponchos and capes have received a water repellent treatment.
12
A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall rating from A to E is provided to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers and backpacks, etc.). Decathlon is committed to displaying environmental information about its products. For further information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

Works not stylish :-)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Excellent at keeping you and your rucksack dry on those rainy days. Also good for the rainy/snowy days when skiing and much cheaper than a storm jacket.
very waterproof
a large and very waterproof cape, covers any rucksack easily. only used once so far but the rain was very heavy and I stayed dry.
Good Value Poncho
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
My wife did not need it a lot but, when required, it did the job.
Used for west highland way trek
Used for 3 to 6 months
Was used over few days hike of the west highland way in Scottish highlands.
Walking 8 hrs a day in heavy rain on the last 2 days hike, worked as it should rucksack and clothes underneath were dry.
Unpacks quickly when needed from own bag.i'm 5'10 and it covers down to just below my knee while carrying a 30ltr pak.
Rain Cape
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Not as good as a previous cape of 4years ago would prefer alight green colour and a peak on the hood with cuffs fitted with velcro.it is easy to carry folded.
Ideal waterproof for an outdoor photographer
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I purchased this product as I had one before but lost it on a photographic foray. This item covers me and equipment in virtually any weather. I can use it as a portable hide and a ground sheet. The only downside is it could be longer as it only comes to the top of me wellies. I used to have a waxed riding coat which covered right down to the ankles of my boots. Maybe in the future this product could be longer in length.
It covers me and my photographic equipment
Could be longer

Fabulous awesome nice product for trekking must take it....
No worth for the money
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
It covers the full body but there is no pocket in this jacket and it's bit costly.
Good Rain poncho
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I used it for my humta pass trek.. It could sustain medium rains but after 2 hours of continuous exposure gets little soggy from inside.

This poncho is good for use while trekking and walking.
