Response of the brand
Dear Sir,

I'm sorry to read that the mudguard has not performed as well as expected.  As long as the mudguard is relatively close to the tyre and you run it on a 26" wheel bike it should give adequate protection from mud spays for your clothing.

I don't know the geometry of your bike therefore it's hard for me to comment but it may be possible that the mudguard does not come close enough to the tyre to give enough protection.

We do sell a different model which can offer better protection as it can be angled closer to the rear wheel.

Please feel free to return the product to store for an exchange.  It would not be a problem.

Great MTB /Commuter mudguard
Used for More than 2 years
I have had two of these on two MTB bikes and they both lasted over three years.Only broke when I crashed!
Easy to fit and remove quickly and they perform much better if you wrap a bit of inner tube around your seatpost.Great value product that has outlasted and out performed many branded alternatives.
Doesn't fit 31.6 seatposts
Didn't last a 15 minutes road ride. (from bermondsey to bank). On the first slightly trepidation of the bike everything came out in the middle of the street. will tape it or buy a new one (http://www.decathlon.co.uk/kit-mudmax-xtra-dry-3-id_5106581.html). saw on a friend's bike. he is really happy with it. will decide after my frustration is gone.
weak, cheap material, lose quickly
Response of the brand
Good evening,If you feel that the mudguard is defective or is not fit for purpose, there would be no problem in your returning it to your local store. The SKS mudmax is a superior product. If you don't have your receipt there is no problem.Regards,Peter Lazarus UK Market Manager - Decathlon
Stylish. But only stylish.
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
It gives a good and of road look to the bike, but not up to the mark while talking about the use. Prevent almost 70% mud splashes only.

Its build quality is good.
Good looking.
Easy to fix.

Feel like bit overpriced.
