Our tips for attaching your hook:
Before attaching your bike storage hook, remember to allow enough space between your ceiling and hook (around a half-wheel of space) to easily hook it on and off. Adapt the fittings (wall plugs and screws) according to the wall type and ask the advice of a professional if needed.
You can mount your hook to the wall or ceiling in 2 ways: - Perpendicular to the wall (with the 2 attachment holes vertically), to store your bike with the tyres against the wall - Vertically (with the 2 attachment holes horizontally), to attach your bike parallel to the wall
We recommend checking the type of support (solid wall, plasterboard, bricks, etc.) before buying your screws and anchors to attach your hook. For example? On a solid wall, we recommend 40 mm anchors and PZ 2 screws that are at least 5 mm x 60 mm.

Excellent wall hook for bike storage. Great price and speed of delivery from Decathlon
Good value, does the job
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I have three of these hooks hanging bikes in the garage. The only problem with them is that the plastic sleeve around the hook gets torn easily. I've covered one with electrical insulation tape and one with duct tape - both seem to work well to stop rims getting scratched.
Value option for getting your bike off the floor
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Hook itself is sturdy and works very well. Make sure you use strong-enough wall fixings and screws. One screw snapped at the head and the other one pulled out of the wall! No damage, but I had to drill new holes.

Great thing about individual hooks is that you can decide the spacing and height yourself.
Cheap option for hanging bikes
Used for More than 2 years
I have four of these in my garage holding various bikes on the wall. I have had them up for several years now with no problems. Make sure your wall is strong enough to hold the weight of the bike(s) and get really good fixings into the wall. I would not recommend putting these on a plasterboard wall unless you fix into the studs. Check the hooks every year or so to make sure the screws are still tight. Also check the plastic sleeve on the hook for damage, as it wears after a while and the hook may scratch your rims, but you can put tape round the hook to prevent this.

I bought three of these to store bikes, and fixed them to the wall.
There were no instructions included, nor does the item come with screws.
I drilled holes in my wall, hammered in rawl plugs, and screwed the hook to the wall using the thickest screws I had, that would fit through the rather narrow holes. The screws were 40 or 45mm long. Seemed great at the time, until that night when I was wakened by an almighty crash from the garage. My beloved bike had hit the floor, bounded, and impaled itself on the lawnmower. Not happy.

Response of the brand
Dear Sir,
I'm sorry to read that the hook fell off the wall. From what I gather the hook itself did not break or bend, the issue seems to come from the wall fixing.
Many variables can come in to play but 40-45mm sounds a little short if you add in the thickness of the hook as well.
I agree with you that a minimum crew length may need to be indicated but again, the type of material you are screwing into (plasterboard, wood, masonary) and the type of screw/rawl you use also varies.
When I read the other reviews, the hook iteslf seems to be popular but the instructions could do with an uplift. I will feed this back to the packaging engineer.

it works! cheap!

better than the other more expensive one from decathlon, this only needs 2 screws and holds the bike just as well. I've bought both, but will buy more of this one.
no instructions/screws included
Don't know how to use it or fix it
I got the product a while ago and am not sure how to fix it .. I have two of these brackets for one cycle. The depth of the bracket is much lesser than the handle bar and peddle .. Not sure if they could be fixed on the wall .. Please advise.
Response of the brand
Hello Gargi,

The mount is to be attached to the ceiling or wall and the wheel of the bike it slide over the hook (yellow part). If you need any more information, contact me via e-mail and I can send a picture showing how exactly if you are unsure.
