stops well but wears very quickly
Used for 3 to 6 months
i'm not sure which brakes were fitted on my btwin hoptown (stock brakes, never changed them in 5+ years!), but those stopped as well lasted well over 1000 miles, while these last barely 100 miles on my btwin riverside 200 - i end up changing pads every month. they do the job pretty well though, and my commute is mostly flat but with lots of wet roads (and grit/salt cos it's winter) so i'm not sure if it's worth spending more for longer lasting brakes.
bike brake pads
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
easy to fit ideal for the job
100 Road Bike Pads
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I bought these for my work bike, cheap alternative & just as good.
Cheap winter pads
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Cheap and cheerful winter brake pads. Wet winter roads can eat through a set of pads in I ride no matter how expensive they are. Save your money and buy these, can't fault them at the price.
Cheap stoppers
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Easy to fit, no squeal, spa bike. Don't know about wear rates yet, there in top recently.
Fine to start with but wore quite quickly
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Managed to get about a month out of them
Response of the brand
Thank you for your feedback regarding these brake blocks. It is true that cheaper pads can wear out quicker than others but if you ride in hilly areas and it's wet and you brake at higher speeds then they can wear out during the daily commute compared with longer day rides. Of course I am unaware of the terrain you encounter each day. I see that you were given a complimentary pair during a check up at one our stores recently. For sure, I would heartily recommend moving up to cartridge pads which have superior braking power and you can also play around with different compounds which may suit your local conditions better than these basic pads. Worth a go I'd say.

Fine once fitted
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
The length of the bolts is so short that fitting it to my stock brake caliper on my B'Twin 500 road bike was an exercise in frustration. Once fitted they worked perfectly well but I dread the day I have to adjust them in any way. I suspect they weren't made for my calipers but the product details state they are made for every road bike.

These are the same price as the Universal V-brake pads which I think are the ones I should have bought in the first place.
Work fine, so far
Difficult to fit without bike stand
Response of the brand
Hi Ross,

Thank you for your review of the 100 road bike brake pads. Sorry to hear that you had trouble with the fitting of these pads as the thread was on the short side.
I will forward this on to the product manager to ensure that isn't the case in the future.

I would recommend this product for people with little money or as a beginner they will work and not run out to soon
They were cheep and they worked quite well
Could be a little stronger
Bad quality brake not for road bicycles
Used for 1 week or less
I purchased them from Lakeside Decathlon last Wednesday on 8tfh of July.I tried to fit them on a road bicycle brake arms but I could not do because these brake pads are not for road bicycles at all.I experienced problems as the brake pads are not suitable for proper adjustment.I will returned them to the shop to get full refund.
Did anybody check this product before sale?

Response of the brand
Dear Sir,
I'm sorry to read that the pads did not fit on to your brakes.  They should fit fine and I've checked other customer reviews and they are very positive.
Can you send me a photograph of your brake arms please?  It may be interesting for the product manager to see the model/brand you have.
Thank you.
